A Fallen Civilization

Eradise is not a game. It’s the creation of a simulated environment, showcasing the ruins of a fallen civilization. The player can explore a specific building with a hidden secret far below its basement. The goal of this project was to create a unique environment/world based on a fictive narrative, while not saying anything to the player.

This is a work in progress research project, made in collaboration with Valerie Bourdon, and Victor Ivanov.

Technical Aspect

Most of my part in Eradise was in building the scene in Unity, as well as creating multiple 3D assets related to the main structure. We try to get the most knowledge out of it by experimenting with new methods for animations, texturing and physics.

While the project is on hold for now, we hope to continue working on it and expand the game to fulfill its primal ambitions. The project was complete, at its current state, in a 3-week timeline.
